29 June 2010: Brussels Airport CDM team completed the last step of Airport CMD implementation. The airport is proud to the CFMU by rpoviding the most accurate flight data all according to CMD principles.
CANSO DG speaks in favour of swift CDM implementation
CANSO, the Global Voice of ATM, has called on European airports to accelerate the roll-out of CDM (Collaborative Decision Making) and adopt a "CDM culture".
Shifting gear on Airport CDM Reporting - the Airport Corner goes live
EUROCONTROL is proud to present the Airport Corner, a new internet-based tool that simplifies data provision from key airport stakeholders.
The Airport Corner was implemented in October 2008. Today, 28 airports regularly report relevant information required to the European network capacity and efficiency planning process, in which airports play an important role.
SESAR European Airports Consortium (SEAC) reviews implementation status with EUROCONTROL
SEAC are Aéroports de Paris, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, BAA, Fraport AG, Munich Airport and Zurich Airport. Together they see the importance and the benefits it will bring to the European Network if these 6 major airports implement Airport CDM.
Implementation goes regional - a new approach to securing Airport Operational Efficiency through A-CDM & CDA
EUROCONTROL’s Laszlo Kiss reports; The first regional high-level meeting on Airport Operational Efficiency co-organised by the State Aviation Administration (SAA) of Ukraine took place on 29 April 2010 in Kiev (Ukraine).
EUROCONTROL’s Laszlo Kiss reports; A regional meeting on Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) took place on 9 June 2010 in Budapest (Hungary).
The Airport CDM e-learning course developments have reached a critical phase on 11 June, when business partners welcomed the first storyboards and mock-up screens of the future course during a workshop organised in EUROCONTROL Brussels.
After a 1-year awareness campaign led by the CFMU and DMEAN, and further to local trials by ANSPs, an agreement was reached for an ECAC-wide Flight Level Adherence trial on 29-30 September 2010.
Follow latest developments in CDM implementation across airports in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Finland, the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria.
The concept of "Airport CDM" brings all the airport partners together to work in a more proactive and transparent way to maximise the use of the available airport infrastructure and resources.
With improved information sharing and agreed working procedures, all partners will benefit from increased predictability of operations and more situational awareness
Airport CDM related tools – exhibition – 17-18 November 2010
Our industry partners will have the opportunity to display or exhibit their current CDM support tools and CDM related products.
